Wet Room Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Wet Room Installer to join our Reading Project team. You will be responsible for the installation of high-quality wet rooms, ensuring all work meets safety standards and client expectations. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical ability, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
·Install complete wet room systems, including waterproofing (tanking), drainage, and tiling
·Prepare surfaces and ensure proper floor gradients for drainage
·Fit sanitary ware such as showers, screens, and fixtures, Repairing toilets, Fitting doors and kitchens – Must have experience with cap and cove flooring
·Carry out plumbing and minor building work as required
·Ensure all installations comply with building regulations and health & safety standards
·Maintain a clean and safe working environment
·Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Requirements
·Proven experience installing wet rooms or similar bathroom systems
·Strong knowledge of waterproofing and tiling techniques
·Basic plumbing skills (essential) Fitting doors Kitchens
·Ability to read technical drawings and plans
·Carpentry and Joinery – Fitting doors and kitchens
·Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
·Good communication and customer service skills
Certification
·NVQ or equivalent qualification in Plumbing and/or Construction
·CSCS is essential
·Multi-trade skills (e.g. carpentry, plastering)
