My client are a main contractor with a turnover of £70million, who undertakes new build and refurbishment projects throughout Southern England.

They provide a first class service to their clients, both public sector and private, through a network of strategically placed and locally staffed offices throughout the UK. POSITION:: Senior Quantity Surveyor

PROJECT: Initial project will be a £4million Sports Pavillion

ROLE: Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Director

Suitable applicants will possess:

A proven track record in being a standalone Commercial lead in similar sized projects.

Confidence, self motivation and have a hands-on approach to Quantity Surveying

Good commercial awareness and willingness to be a key team member.

The ability to cope with change and develop new skills

Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team

An education to a Degree standard. While a professional qualification would be an advantage, it is not essential.

A good understanding of the standard forms of Sub-contract is required
