Search is working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who due to growth is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team based in the northwest.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Ensuring a safe working environment
* Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Conducting risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safe practices.
* Providing health and safety training to employees and management to promote a positive health and safety culture.
* Reporting and investigating incidents to learn from them and prevent future occurrences.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports to support decision-making and compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Ensure that all employees are aware of their legal duties and comply with relevant health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures
