M&E Project Manager (Mechanical Bias)

A leading MEP subcontractor, delivering high-value commercial, residential, and industrial projects across the UK, is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager with a strong mechanical bias to join their team on a flagship multi-million-pound development in Central London.

The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the delivery of M&E packages, with a particular focus on mechanical services, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of M&E project delivery from pre-construction through to handover

*

Overseeing mechanical installations, including plumbing and pipefitting systems

*

Coordinating with main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors

*

Managing programme, cost control, and quality assurance

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

*

Leading site teams and maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders

*

Attending and leading project meetings, reporting progress to senior management

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager on multi-million-pound projects

*

Strong mechanical background, ideally time-served plumber or pipefitter

*

Experience working for an MEP subcontractor

*

Demonstrable experience delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects

*

Strong leadership and organisational skills

*

Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability

*

Relevant qualifications in Building Services Engineering or equivalent (preferred)

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (desirable)
