We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Access Control Engineer to join our growing team. This exciting opportunity is based in London & Essex and will involve the installation, servicing, and fault finding for a wide range of entry systems, including gates, bollards, and roller shutters.
As an Access Control Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
Installation: Carry out the installation of access control systems for gates, bollards, and roller shutters, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
Servicing: Perform regular servicing and maintenance of existing access control systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Fault Finding: Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in access control systems and carry out repairs as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients to understand their needs and delivering solutions in a timely manner.
Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, servicing schedules, and any repairs or maintenance carried out.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in the installation and servicing of access control systems (e.g., gates, bollards, roller shutters).
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good understanding of electrical systems, automation, and access control technologies.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Desirable:
Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical engineering or access control.
Experience with specific access control brands or systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the access control industry.
