Associate Director – Building Surveyor
I'm currently working with a high-quality, independent building consultancy that is opening an office in Liverpool and is looking to appoint an Associate Director-level Building Surveyor. They are also open to speaking with strong Senior Building Surveyors who are keen to progress into an Associate / Associate Director role over the next few years.
This is a senior opportunity for someone who values autonomy, variety and influence – with scope to grow alongside the business rather than sit within a rigid hierarchy.
The Company
The consultancy provides commercial building surveying and project advisory services to a well-established client base of investors, developers and occupiers. Their work covers a range of office, industrial and mixed-use assets, with a strong emphasis on practical, commercially focused advice.
They operate with a lean structure and a hands-on culture, encouraging senior surveyors to stay close to both clients and projects.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
Delivering and overseeing a range of professional and project-based surveying instructions
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients
Playing a senior role within the Liverpool-based team following the relocation
Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors as the team develops
Contributing to business development in a credible, relationship-led wayAbout you
MRICS qualified
Currently operating at Associate, Senior Associate, or Senior Building Surveyor level
Strong technical foundation across core building surveying services
Commercially aware, confident with clients and comfortable working with autonomy
Ambitious, with a clear desire to progress and take on more responsibility over timeWhy consider it?
