Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing – Stratford Upon Avon

We are currently partnering with an established Social Housing/Retrofit contractor with proven success nationally in their project delivery. Due to growth in their commercial department, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Stratford Upon Avon.

Responsibilities

Commercial Management of Retrofit & Decarbonisation Works
Manage the commercial delivery of social housing retrofit schemes, including insulation, roofing, windows/doors, and energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while supporting sustainability and carbon reduction targets.

Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers across multiple workstreams, preparing tender documentation, analysing returns, and ensuring best value is achieved in line with programme and framework requirements.

Cost Control, Reporting & Forecasting
Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports, valuations, and forecasts, monitoring expenditure across planned works programmes and ensuring financial performance aligns with business targets.

Contract Administration & Variations Management
Administer contracts in line with standard forms, managing variations, change control, and valuations, ensuring all works are accurately measured and commercially accounted for across occupied housing stock.

Stakeholder Engagement & Resident-Focused Delivery
Work closely with operational teams, local authorities, and residents, supporting the delivery of works in occupied properties while maintaining a strong focus on communication, customer satisfaction, and minimal disruption.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications

Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role – Preferably on Social Housing projects

Must be based within a commutable distance of Stratford Upon Avon

£40,000 – £60,000 + Package
