Our client is currently looking to recruit a Drainage Engineer on an initial 3 month contract
  
Drainage Engineer – Highways (Contract)
£250 per day
Cambridgeshire – Hybrid

We are currently seeking a Drainage Engineer with Highways Drainage experience to join our team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and manage flooding and drainage issues on the highway network
Analyse data and produce clear, structured reports with actionable findings
Support winter maintenance activities on highways
Work collaboratively within a team to deliver projects effectively
Apply risk awareness in all aspects of project delivery Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in Highways Drainage / Flood Management
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, “can-do” team player Desirable:

Experience with GIS systems
CSCS card
