Senior Construction Project Manager

A well-established, independent Property Consultancy is actively recruiting a Senior Project Manager to be based in Birmingham. 

THE COMPANY 

My client is a respected Consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. They have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining long-term client relationships. 

Working across the Midlands, they are involved in a range of notable developments, particularly within the Residential sector (both Private and Public). 

They offer a supportive and collaborative environment where senior team members play a key role in shaping projects, mentoring staff, and contributing to the ongoing success of the business. 

THE POSITION 

They are actively looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. 

The Senior Project Manager will take full ownership of projects and client relationships, and will: 

Lead and manage projects across all stages of the lifecycle 

Act as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships 

Take responsibility for project performance including programme, cost, risk, and quality 

Lead project teams and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants 

Chair client and project meetings and present at a senior level 

Projects typically range in value from £5 million to £100 million. 

THE CANDIDATE 

The successful Senior Project Manager should: 

Hold a relevant degree  

Have significant experience working as a Project Manager within a Consultancy or Main Contracting environment 

Have a strong track record of delivering Property / Building projects from inception to completion 

Demonstrate excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills 

Be commercially astute with strong leadership and organisational abilities 

Ideally be working towards or already chartered (MRICS, MAPM)
