Senior Design Manager

We are looking for a main contractor’s Senior Design Manager on the behalf of a Tonbridge-based firm, noted for its stable business model of working with blue chip clients and maintaining a close-knit team, boasting staff turnover as low as 1.8% and an average length of service of 17 years.

With a broad portfolio of interesting, bespoke, high quality community projects (libraries, schools, leisure centres and housing) in the £5m to £20m value range, the company is embarking on a planned doubling of annual turnover and the role has been created in line with the requisite expansion of the technical team.

Candidate Essentials

* BEng / HND Civ Eng, BSc Quantity Surveying, or RIBA qualified.

* 10+ years’ design management and team leadership experience with good quality main contractors.

* A stable employment record of working on a salaried basis with no more than three roles in the last ten years.

* A project portfolio of; schools, leisure centres, NHS and office fit outs.
