Yardman (HGV Driver) – West London

We are working with a well established construction business based in West London, with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring on a reliable and proactive Yardman to join their team.

This is a key role within the business, responsible for keeping the yard organised and ensuring materials and equipment are delivered efficiently to sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining the yard to a high standard

*

Organising and preparing materials, plant, and equipment for site use

*

Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently

*

Carrying out site deliveries across London and surrounding areas

*

Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are kept clean and in good working order

*

Supporting the wider team with general yard duties as required

Requirements:

*

Valid HGV Licence (essential)

*

Previous experience in a similar yard or construction environment

*

Good knowledge of construction materials and plant (preferred)

*

Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude

*

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
