The Opportunity

A specialist subcontractor delivering complex cut & carve, Structural alterations across London is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager.

This is to oversee multiple fast-paced commercial refurbishment schemes, working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors across London.

The Role

You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects, typically including:

Structural alterations & demolition

*

Groundworks & drainage

*

Structural steel installs

Key responsibilities:

Oversee 5–8 live projects simultaneously

*

Manage Site Managers, Engineers & subcontractors

*

Drive programme, productivity, and sequencing

*

Ensure commercial performance alongside QS team

*

Maintain high HSEQ standards across all sites

*

Liaise directly with main contractors and clients

*

Problem-solve live site challenges (logistics, structure, design changes)

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager

*

Strong background in:

Cut & carve / structural refurb

*

Groundworks or enabling works

*

Ability to manage multiple London-based projects

*

Commercial awareness

*

Confident dealing with Tier 1 main contractors

*

Hands-on, proactive mindset
