Mechanical Associate (Building Services Engineering)

I’m working with a well-established construction consultancy in Cardiff looking to appoint a Mechanical Associate.
This is a key hire for the business, offering the opportunity to play a visible role in project delivery, team development, client engagement and business developmnent.
🔧 The Opportunity
This role could suit either:
• An established Associate / Associate Director with strong client relationships in the Welsh market.
Or
• A Senior Mechanical Engineer ready to progress into a more senior position
You’ll be working within a professional, well run consultancy environment, with the autonomy to make an impact.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Leading mechanical design delivery across a range of projects
• Developing and maintaining client relationships
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
• Contributing to the growth and direction of the business
• Playing a key role in project and team leadership
🎯 What They’re Looking For
• Strong background in mechanical building services engineering
• Experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment
• Ability to engage with clients and represent the business professionally
• Leadership or mentoring experience (or readiness to step into it)
