YOUR NEW ROLE
You’ll take ownership of multiple specialist civils packages from pre‑start through to handover. This is a hands‑on delivery role where you’re visible on sites, leading teams, solving problems, and ensuring projects land safely, on programme, and commercially sound.
You’ll be the link between site operations, commercial teams, and the client, driving standards, managing risk, and keeping delivery tight.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and support site foremen, specialist operatives, and subcontractors
*
Oversee subcontractor procurement, onboarding, and performance
*
Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and Health & Safety across all sites
*
Report progress, risks, and commercial issues to senior leadership
*
Identify, manage, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
*
Maintain accurate site records for variations, delays, and cost substantiation
*
Track, record, and process variations in line with contract requirements
*
Support commercial teams with final accounts and project close‑out
*
Represent the business in progress and commercial meetings
ABOUT YOU
*
Strong civil engineering background with experience on complex or large‑scale projects
*
Proven Contracts Manager experience within a Tier1 or Tier2 environment
*
Confident interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and temporary works
*
Able to manage multiple live projects under tight deadlines
*
Experience with structural steel fabrication/erection is beneficial
*
Familiarity with StrucCad, Strumis, AutoCAD, Tekla is an advantage
*
Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 18001, CE Marking
*
Strong communicator who can work effectively with site teams, engineers, and clients
*
Proficient with Microsoft Office
MUST HAVE'S
*
On‑site management experience
*
3+ years working alongside main contractors and engineers
*
Minimum 5 years working with technical drawings and specifications
SALARY AND BENEFITS

£70,000 – £80,000 (DOE)
