Site Manager – Residential Projects

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Package

An established, mediumd sized principal contractor are looking to bring an experienced Site Manager on board for upcoming residential and care home projects across Kent & Surrey. 
 
They’re a well-respected contractor with a reputation for delivering quality projects—without the usual “organised chaos” you sometimes find on site. In short, a place where programmes are actually followed… most of the time.
 
The Role
You’ll be the person running the show on site—keeping the programme on track, subcontractors in line, and making sure everything is delivered safely and to a high standard. Projects are mainly residential and care homes, so experience in either will put you in a strong position.
 
Key Responsibilities

Managing day-to-day site operations (yes, including the unexpected surprises)
Keeping the programme moving in the right direction
Coordinating subcontractors and maintaining standards
Upholding health & safety (the non-negotiable bit)
Liaising with clients and the wider team without losing your sanityWhat They're Looking For

Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor 
Residential and/or care home project experience from £5m – £15m 
Strong leadership skills—you can run a site without shouting… most of the time
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
Someone organised, proactive, and able to spot problems before they become “meetings” What’s on Offer
 
This is a genuinely good role with a principal contractor that knows what they’re doing.
 
You won’t be handed a mess and told to “just sort it”—unless it’s one of those days… but that’s construction.
