Design Manager-Swindon/Remote Working

Due to the award of a major Hydro Electric scheme in Scotland, our client a world renowned Main Contractor are seeking the services of a Design manager to support the works which include Earthworks, Roads and Tunnelling.

Managing the design and engineering activities duties will include:

1. Completion of design on time and within budget including successful completion of design reviews, stage gates, construction reviews and hazard/risk reduction procedures.

2. To provide technical support on the project.

3. To ensure health, safety, welfare, environment, quality are considered as a core function of design at all stages, decisions and outcomes clearly communicated to construction and operation teams

To be considered for this, you will have a Degree in Civil Engineering and ideally be MICE. You will also have solid Design management experience gained on major Infrastructure projects in the UK.

In return, a top day rate is on offer which is Outside IR35 and comes with an immediate start and long term contract. They are also happy with remote working or office based from Swindon.
