My client are a privately owned main contractor with a turnover of £40million. They have successfully produced steel framed buildings and retail parks to the value of £15million for over 10 years. They have been so successful with their projects that they have not had to go out to competitive tender for over 6 years, everything is either repeat business or recommendations.

With a Project Manager coming up for retirement, they are now seeking a standalone Project Manager to join the team.

THE ROLE: Project Manager, reporting to the Construction Director

As part of the Construction Management team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the project from early involvement to beyond completion, including safety, construction delivery, quality and financial performance.

In addition, you will be expected to develop client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Management of staff from all disciplines is a key part of this role, as is building a strong, client focused team ensuring members are fully, trained supported and utilised.

To be successful you will hold a CITB Safety Certificate and have a proven track record of managing similar sized Construction projects. With a positive, professional, team player and customer focused attitude you will have the ability to work effectively within a busy working environment
