Maintenance Technician

Are you a maintenance technician with good all round building services maintenance experience looking for an immediate start in a temporary role?

We have a new role for a maintenance technician to join one of the UK's leading Universities based in central London. This is a static role, 35 hours per week, paid weekly at an hourly rate of £19.65 PAYE (23.30 Umbrella rate). 

Within this maintenance role you will be based at the Universities halls of residence and be responsible for all round maintenance including:

Basic plumbing

Unblocking sinks and toilets

Fabric maintenance

Repairing doors and windows

General upkeep of the University halls

PPMs and reactive minor repairs

For this temporary maintenance role we are looking for:

A solid work history of commercial building services maintenance ideally from student accommodation or a hotel background

Experience of basic plumbing

Experience of fabric or carpentry work

A clear DBS

A great attitude to work backed up by good references
