This role supports the delivery of high standards in Health, Safety and Environmental performance across office and project environments. Working collaboratively with multiple teams, it provides guidance, assurance and constructive challenge to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with legislation and promote a positive safety culture throughout all operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of health, safety and environmental management systems in line with legislation and best practice
Carry out site inspections, audits and provide recommendations for improvement
Assist in incident investigations, including near misses and close calls, ensuring accurate reporting
Contribute to HSE training, awareness initiatives and behavioural safety programmes
Analyse HSE data to identify trends and support the implementation of effective corrective actionsRequirements.

Proven experience in Health & Safety positions.
Previous experience on Construction or Civil Engineering projects.
NEBOSH certified
Lead Auditor certified desirableLocation: Swindon
Permanent: Full Time, 37.5 hrs
Salary: circa £50k – £55k (dependent on experience) + £5k Car Allowance
