What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be right at the heart of delivery — not stuck behind paperwork — supporting key sections of works on site and working closely with senior engineers and site management.

Setting out and surveying for major works packages
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
Supporting quality assurance and maintaining high standards on site
Assisting with RAMS and safe systems of work
Coordinating subcontractors and day-to-day site activities
Keeping accurate records and tracking progress
Getting involved in solving real engineering challenges on complex RC and marine works This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll be trusted and relied upon.

You don’t need to tick every box — but you should feel confident operating on a live civils site.

Experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
Solid setting out and quality control knowledge
Exposure to reinforced concrete (ideal)
Marine or large infrastructure experience (a bonus, not essential)
HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
Based locally to Plymouth (or able to work there)
Able to obtain SC Clearance Most importantly — you’re reliable, proactive, and want to be part of a serious project with proper standards.
