Associate Employer's Agent – Construction Consultancy

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Central London is looking to appoint an Associate Employer's Agent to support the growth of their Strategic Developments Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Employer's Agent to take a leadership role in delivering residential-led schemes while helping expand into new sectors including BTR, Later Living and commercial developments.

The Associate Employer's Agent will work closely with senior leadership, shaping project delivery and contributing to business growth. This role offers a clear platform for an experienced Associate Employer's Agent to influence strategy, manage key client relationships and lead complex developments.

The Associate Employer's Agent's role

The Associate Employer's Agent will take responsibility for leading multiple projects and supporting the direction of the team.

Key duties include:

Acting as Employer's Agent across complex, high-value schemes

Leading pre and post contract delivery, including contract drafting and negotiation

Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor

Overseeing procurement strategies and project execution

Supporting and mentoring junior and senior team members

Driving quality, programme and commercial outcomes across projects

Projects range from large mixed-use developments to affordable housing and infrastructure schemes.

The Associate Employer's Agent

The ideal Associate Employer's Agent will have:

Extensive Employer's Agent experience across residential and mixed-use developments

Strong working knowledge of JCT and ideally NEC contracts

Demonstrable leadership and team management experience

A relevant degree (Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Project Management or similar)

MRICS/MCIOB (preferred but not essential with significant experience)

Strong understanding of residential, affordable housing and emerging sectors (BTR, Later Living)

Excellent commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills
