Quantity Surveyor
We’re working with a well-established contractor delivering large-scale social housing refurbishment and decarbonisation schemes across the South West and South Wales.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across Bristol, Cardiff and Newport, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support continued growth within their regional commercial team.
The Role
You’ll take commercial responsibility for multiple refurbishment and retrofit projects, typically delivered under framework agreements.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, involving:
* Full commercial management from procurement through to final account
* Managing subcontractor packages, valuations, and variations
* Cost reporting, CVRs, and cash flow forecasting
* Working across planned maintenance, retrofit, and decarbonisation schemes
* Supporting delivery teams across Bristol and South Wales
Projects typically include external wall insulation (EWI), internal wall insulation (IWI), and wider energy efficiency upgrades within occupied housing.
What They’re Looking For
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within refurbishment, housing, or maintenance
* Comfortable managing multiple projects or high-volume workstreams
* Strong commercial awareness and reporting capability
* Experience with JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Exposure to retrofit, decarbonisation, or SOR frameworks is beneficial but not essential
