The role of Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a range of manufactured bespoke joinery and fit-out projects within the commercial sector
* Review tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlines
* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
* Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Producing formal quotations to customers
* Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
* Working on projects ranging in value from £50k to £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out with
* Must have estimating experience within joinery, manufacturing, or fit-out sectors
* Candidates from a manufacturing background are highly desirable
* Open to estimators from manufacturing, even without joinery or fit-out experience
* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Good team player who also works well individually
