360 Recruitment is currently assisting a specialist contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor.

This opportunity will be working on civil engineering & earthworks schemes across London and the Southeast.

Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kent, with travel to sites as and when required

Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on level of experience, projects worked on, etc)

About the role:

Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Measurement and valuation of civils packages.
Manage subcontractor accounts, variations, and valuations.
Produce monthly valuations and commercial reports.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and commercial best practice.
Provide commercial support to the project management team.
Risk and value-engineering assessments.
About you:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects.
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.
