Mechanical Day Maintenance Engineer – Data Centre

Static data centre site

Location: East London

Salary: £49,000 per annum + overtime

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00)

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical systems.

Maintain accurate site records and ensure full compliance with health and safety logbooks.

Manage and maintain plumbing systems and air conditioning units (Chilled Water, ACU, FCU, VRF, etc.).

Ensure all water treatment and safety protocols are strictly followed.

Technical Requirements & Qualifications

NVQ level 3 mechanical engineer or any mechanical discipline
Mechanical Expertise: A solid background in mechanical engineering within a commercial or industrial setting.

Legionella Training: (Essential) Must have up-to-date L8/Legionella awareness or qualifications.

Specialist Systems: Proven experience with plumbing or AC systems (Chilled water or DX).
