SITE MANAGER – Major CAT A Fit Out (£50m) | Part of a £120m Scheme | London

Overview

A high‑quality refurbishment and fit out contractor, known for delivering complex commercial schemes across London, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship £120m redevelopment project. The business is expanding and taking on increasingly challenging schemes, offering strong long‑term progression for ambitious site leaders.

The project includes a £50m CAT A fit out, demolition, and façade works over 10 floors. You will take responsibility for a defined section of the fit out, typically 2-3 floors, reporting to a Senior Project Manager and working alongside a wider management team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day site operations for your allocated floors/sections.
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, logistics, and sequencing.
Ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Maintain site safety, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce H&S protocols.
Monitor progress against programme and escalate risks or delays.
Support procurement, material call‑offs, and site documentation.
Liaise with the client team, consultants, and internal management.
Produce daily/weekly reports and maintain accurate site records.
Drive a positive, collaborative site culture aligned with company values.Candidate Profile

Experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit out or refurbishment projects.
Strong understanding of CAT A fit out, M&E coordination, and multi‑trade sequencing.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors across several floors.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and programme delivery.
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid required.What's on Offer
