Our client, a globally recognised property consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Director to lead and expand their Building Surveying Oxford-based team. This is a pivotal senior hire, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a growing service line within a highly respected firm.

The Opportunity
This role is ideally suited to an experienced and well-connected Building Surveyor ready to step into a true leadership position. You will play a central role in driving the strategic growth of the Building Surveying offering across Oxford and the wider region, combining hands-on delivery with a strong focus on winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and grow the Building Surveying team in Oxford
Proactively win new business, leveraging your network and market presence
Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Deliver a full range of Building Surveying services, including project management, dilapidations, and technical due diligence
Work closely with other service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level surveyors, fostering a high-performing team cultureRequirements

MRICS qualified with extensive post-qualification experience
Proven track record of securing and delivering work within a consultancy environment
Strong network within the Oxford / wider Southeast property market
Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to grow and inspire teams
