Senior Quantity Surveyor

A regional main contractor renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team in Birmingham, working on high-rise and multi-room residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work on a variety of high-rise and multi-room projects across the Midlands, reporting to the Regional Commercial Manager.
Provide commercial support to project teams both on-site and in the office.
Ensure projects are administered effectively, meeting commercial targets and client expectations.
Oversee procurement, measurement, cost control, and accruals calculations.
Contribute to monthly reporting, earned value analysis, and commercial planning.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor.
Experience on high-rise, multi-room, or large-scale residential projects is highly desirable.
Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Understanding of current Construction Law.
Strong commercial management experience.
