Site Agent /Site Manager

Our client, a tier 1 Main Contractor having won a number of significant civil engineering projects in water related civils in the central Somerset area are now looking for an experienced Site Agent /site Manager. This assignments will commence around 30th March for initially a 5-6 month duration (however with a full order book already, continuity is likely for any suitable person). The role involves Site Management and coordination of site activities, short and medium term planning, overseeing quality control and making sure permits and TM are in place to ensure the productive, efficient and safe progress of site activities, quality and standards are upheld. etc.

The ideal candidate will possess an SMSTS, 1st Aid, Temporary Works Supervisor and ideally NVQ6 qualification and must have worked specifically on water projects previously e.g. STW, WTW, large diameter deep drainage, pumping stations, Service diversions or reservoirs etc.

This is the chance to work with a very well respected tier 1 contractor with a realistic prospect of ongoing local work continuity if desired.
