Streetworks Coordinator – Infrastructure

Linear Recruitment are working with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to recruit a Streetworks Coordinator to support the delivery of key projects across the UK.
The Role
This role will support project teams in ensuring all works are compliant with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA). You’ll play a key role in coordinating permits, liaising with local authorities, and ensuring works are delivered efficiently and in line with legislation.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and issuing Streetworks permits via Street Manager
*
Monitoring permits through to completion, ensuring compliance
*
Coordinating with third parties (e.g. road closures, parking suspensions, bus stops)
*
Administering Section 50 licences
*
Responding to Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Section 74 charges
*
Maintaining accurate schedules and programme updates
*
Liaising with Highway Authorities and responding to comments/requests
*
Supporting project planning, reporting and KPI tracking
*
Attending project and progress meetings
*
Ensuring compliance with NRSWA and internal processes
About You
Essential:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
*
Ability to work proactively and meet deadlines
*
Confident communicator, able to liaise with project teams, clients and local authorities
Desirable:

Experience working within Streetworks/NRSWA environments
*
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
*
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
