The Opportunity
This is a standout opportunity to take ownership of electrical cost management on some of the UK’s most complex and mission-critical healthcare projects. You’ll be working on hospitals, specialist treatment centres, laboratories, and research facilities—delivering high-value electrical packages in live, highly regulated environments where precision and compliance are critical.

The Role
As an Associate Cost Manager, you will lead electrical cost management across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility through to final account. You will play a key role in shaping budgets, managing risk, and driving value beyond the numbers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical cost management from feasibility to completion
Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
Develop and implement procurement strategies
Manage valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts
Provide advice on value engineering and whole-life cost optimisation
Work closely with design, engineering, clinical, and construction teams
Interpret complex design changes (e.g. specialist clinical spaces) and forecast cost impact
Mentor and support junior team members
About You

Proven experience in Quantity Surveying or estimating across full project lifecycles
Strong understanding of electrical systems within healthcare or complex environments (HV/LV, UPS, generators, life safety systems, BMS, etc.)
Track record of delivering projects up to £20M
Confident communicator with experience engaging clients, contractors, and consultants
Hands-on electrical background is advantageous
