Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to join a civil engineering main contractor on a project in Manchester, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading contractor delivering major infrastructure works.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Supervising day-to-day site activities across civil engineering works

* Managing subcontractors, labour, and plant on site

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification

* Supporting the Site Manager and Site Agent with coordination of works

* Delivering toolbox talks, site briefings, and inductions

* Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to senior management

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation

Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a Supervisor on civil engineering projects

* Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination

* Experience working with main contractors preferred

* SSSTS or SMSTS qualification

* Valid CSCS card

* First Aid at Work (preferred)

* Strong communication and organisational skills
