Electrical Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical works on a large scale commercial construction project. This is a key role responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and coordinate electrical teams and subcontractors on site

* Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications, drawings, and regulations

* Monitor progress against programme and report on milestones

* Maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring compliance with site policies

* Conduct inspections, quality checks, and snagging of electrical installations

* Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth delivery

* Manage materials, labour, and resources efficiently

* Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and apprentices

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial projects

* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

* SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred

* Strong knowledge of current electrical regulations and standards (e.g., BS 7671)

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Valid ECS/CSCS card
