Salary: £25,000 – £26,000 (DOE)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and well-structured laboratory based in Writtle, Chelmsford. The company is expanding due to a sustained increase in workload and is looking to appoint a Bulk Laboratory Analyst to support their busy asbestos lab.

Alongside asbestos analysis, the business also operates a microbiology laboratory, offering genuine opportunities for long-term development and cross-training.

Duties for the role of Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst include:
* Analyse bulk asbestos samples in line with UKAS procedures
* Accurately record, review, and report test results
* Maintain laboratory quality standards and housekeeping
* Ensure all work complies with HSE, UKAS, and internal procedures
* Support the wider laboratory team during busy periods

Skills and experience for the role of Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst:
* Approximately 1 year's experience in a bulk laboratory role
* BOHS P401 qualification (or working towards)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
* Good organisational and communication skills
