Assistant M&E Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, supporting the delivery of high-profile projects across London and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the commercial management of M&E packages across multiple projects

Support the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
*
Assist with procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages
*
Help manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations and variations
*
Monitor project costs and support financial reporting and forecasting
*
Assist in the preparation and agreement of interim applications and final accounts
*
Review subcontractor applications and ensure accuracy and compliance
*
Support the management of change control and variation processes
*
Work closely with project managers and site teams to track progress and costs
*
Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation
Key Requirements
*
Degree or working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or similar
*
Some experience or placement within M&E, construction, or building services (preferred)
*
Strong numerical and analytical skills
*
Good understanding of construction and commercial principles
*
Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard software
Desirable
*
Previous experience in M&E or building services projects
*
Familiarity with commercial office or fit-out projects
*
Understanding of NEC or JCT forms of contract
*
Working towards professional accreditation (e.g. RICS or similar via Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
