Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor on site in Paddington, working on a high-quality new build residential development.

The scheme comprises two remaining blocks of reinforced concrete frame construction with brick cladding, with a build programme running for approximately 12 months.

This is a site-based role, five days a week, offering hands-on involvement and the opportunity to work closely with the project delivery team on a flagship development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Take ownership of all commercial aspects of the project on site

* Manage subcontractor procurement, packages, contracts, and valuations

* Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control

* Work closely with project managers, site teams, and senior stakeholders

* Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget

* Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential sector

* Strong background with a main contractor delivering new build schemes

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team

* Available to work full-time on site in Paddington
