Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Support Manager to support the commissioning phase of the Holcim Tilbury Mill build. This is a short-term role requiring a hands-on professional with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, capable of coordinating activities, resolving issues, producing reports and ensuring smooth commissioning operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Support and coordinate commissioning activities across electrical and mechanical systems

* Act as a key point of contact between site teams and project stakeholders

* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and operational issues in real-time

* Monitor commissioning progress and ensure adherence to project timelines

* Produce clear, accurate reports on progress, issues, and resolutions

* Assist in system checks, testing, and validation processes

* Ensure all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

* Strong background in both electrical and mechanical disciplines

* Proven experience supporting commissioning activities on industrial or construction projects

* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly under pressure

* Competent in producing detailed and professional reports and documentation

* Strong communication and coordination skills

Desirable

* Previous experience on heavy industrial, cement, or manufacturing projects

* Familiarity with commissioning processes in large-scale plant builds

* Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications
