We are working with a well-established and growing manufacturer within the timber engineering sector, known for delivering high-quality roof truss and floor system solutions across residential and commercial projects throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join their team on a fully remote basis.
The Role:
As a Roof Truss Designer, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and cost-effective designs for a wide range of projects. Working remotely, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet both client expectations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural drawings and project specifications
Design roof truss systems using industry-standard software (MiTek Pamir)
Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy
Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations and standards
Produce clear and detailed manufacturing drawings
Work closely with production and sales teams to support project deliveryAbout You:
Minimum 3 years' experience in roof truss design
Strong working knowledge of MiTek Pamir
Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
