Senior Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a marine civils package on a major infrastructure project. This is a fast-paced, site-based role offering the opportunity to work on complex coastal and marine works within a challenging environment.

This position is ideal for a highly capable Senior Engineer with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, who can take ownership of engineering activities and support the wider project team from day one.

Senior Engineer Key Responsibilities:

* Leading setting out and engineering activities in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme

* Overseeing marine civils works including structures, piling, and coastal infrastructure

* Managing and mentoring junior engineers and site engineers

* Ensuring quality control, including ITPs, inspections, and as-built records

* Coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

* Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with daily site operations and planning

Senior Engineer Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on marine or major civils projects

* Strong setting out and surveying skills (GPS/Total Station)

* Experience working on marine, coastal, or heavy civils packages

* Good understanding of QA processes and technical documentation

* CSCS card (essential)

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to perform in a fast-paced, challenging site environment
