Electrical Site Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical works on a large scale district heating project. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high quality delivery of all electrical installations across the site.

You will coordinate on site activities, manage subcontractors, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Electrical Site Managers Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise all electrical works on site related to district heating systems

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

* Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel

* Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project plans

* Monitor project progress, reporting on timelines, risks, and performance

* Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards

* Support commissioning, testing, and handover processes

* Maintain accurate site documentation and records

Electrical Site Managers Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or similar role

* Strong background in district heating, energy, or infrastructure projects

* Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)

* SMSTS or SSSTS certification

* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations (e.g., CDM)

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* ECS/CSCS card (preferred)
