The Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Electrical QAQC Manager to lead quality assurance and control for a major data centre project in Frankfurt. This role is critical in overseeing the installation of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems, focusing specifically on containment and cable pulling excellence.

The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical infrastructure meets stringent technical specifications, international standards, and specific project requirements. While we are prioritising local individuals in the Frankfurt area, we are also keen to hear from qualified professionals across the UK and Europe who possess the relevant experience and are willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections: Lead and document all QA/QC inspections for MV/LV containment systems and cable pulling operations.

Standards Compliance: Ensure all works align with project specifications, VDE standards (or equivalent), and health and safety regulations.

Documentation: Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including the RFI (Request for Information) and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) lifecycle.

Snagging & Remediation: Oversee the identification of defects, manage punch lists, and ensure timely rectification by site teams.

Subcontractor Liaison: Work closely with site supervisors and subcontractors to maintain high installation standards from the outset.

Handover: Prepare comprehensive handover packages and "as-built" documentation for the final delivery to the client.

Requirements

Experience: Proven track record as a QAQC Manager or Senior Electrical Lead on large-scale industrial projects (Data Centres, Life Sciences, or Semi-conductors preferred).

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MV/LV electrical systems, containment infrastructure, and cable pulling methodologies.

Certifications: Relevant electrical qualifications and QA/QC certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 internal auditor or equivalent).

Communication: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
