Senior Quantity Surveyor – York

We're working with a leading residential developer who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for a new-build scheme in York. With an exciting pipeline of upcoming developments, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values autonomy, high-quality delivery, and long-term career progression.

The first project is a 4-storey apartment development in York’s historic city centre, offering a mix of high-spec units in a sensitive and sought-after location. You will be the commercial lead on site, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities:
• Taking full commercial ownership of the project on site
• Managing procurement, subcontractor packages, and tendering processes
• Overseeing subcontractor accounts, valuations, and cost reporting
• Monitoring budgets and advising on cost-effective solutions
• Collaborating closely with the project team to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes

What’s on offer:
• Salary £65,000 – £70,000 + package
