We are working with a well-established and highly respected joinery manufacturer who is looking to appoint an experienced Joinery CAD Draughtsperson / Setter Out to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has progressed from a hands-on joinery background into a technical design role and is looking to work on high-quality bespoke projects.

The Role

You will play a key role in translating design concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings, ensuring all joinery items are produced efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties will include:

Producing detailed manufacturing and workshop drawings
Interpreting architectural drawings and design specifications
Liaising with production teams to ensure buildability
Working closely with project managers and designers
Coordinating technical details from concept through to manufacture
Resolving technical issues and design challengesAbout You

This role is specifically suited to someone with a traditional joinery background who understands the craft as well as the technical side.

Essential:

Completed a Joinery Craft Apprenticeship
Proven experience working on the bench (workshop)
Experience producing joinery manufacturing drawings
Strong understanding of joinery methods, materials, and construction techniquesDesirable:

Site experience installing or overseeing joinery
Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
Previous roles as a Setter Out / CAD Draughtsperson / Design Coordinator
Ability to interpret and work from architectural drawingsWhat’s on Offer
