Site Engineer

Site Engineer – Public Realm Scheme (Rugby) – 8-Month Contract

* Location: Rugby

* Start Date: ASAP

* Duration: 8 months

* Rate: £300 – £330 per day (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting out and surveying for public realm works in line with project specifications

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards

* Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation

* Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

* Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate site records

* Supporting the wider site team with day-to-day engineering duties

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on public realm, highways, or infrastructure projects

* Strong setting out and surveying skills

* Competence with relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)

* CSCS card (essential)

* SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
