Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Wokingham
Salary: £325 -£375/ day
Project Value: circa £500k

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a 6-month temporary assignment to lead the delivery of a mechanical project valued at approximately £500k. You will be responsible for managing the project from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the full lifecycle of the mechanical project

* Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

* Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting

* Resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently

* Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction throughout

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager (ideally within £250k–£1m project range)

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.)

* Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

* Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card

* First Aid at Work certification

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines

* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience

* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
