MEICA Site Manager – Water Infrastructure Projects
Tec-Source is working with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced MEICA Manager for major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering complex schemes across treatment works, pumping stations, and associated infrastructure.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing all MEICA elements of projects from design coordination through to installation, testing, and commissioning.
The role requires close coordination between civils, mechanical, and electrical teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver MEICA packages across water/wastewater projects
* Coordinate installation, commissioning, and system integration
* Manage subcontractors and specialist MEICA suppliers
* Review and challenge designs for buildability and sequencing
* Handle RFIs, technical queries, and design changes
* Ensure compliance with HSE and water industry standards
* Coordinate civils works around MEICA requirements
Requirements
* Strong MEICA experience within the water sector
* Experience on MEICA-intensive projects (WwTW, pumping stations)
* Knowledge of design & build / ECI environments
* Understanding of civils/MEICA interfaces
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Technical Knowledge
* Familiarity with CESWI, WIMES, and water industry standards
Qualifications
* CSCS Black Card
* SMSTS (CITB)
* NVQ Level 6/7 or equivalent
* EUSR Water Hygiene (Blue Card)
* Temporary Works (TWS or TWC)
* Confined Space (Medium Risk minimum)
* IOSH or NEBOSH (preferred)
