Senior Quantity Surveyor

I am looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor is South Devon. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working within the retrofit refurbishment programmes working on full end to end life cycle of a project including sub contractor procurement and mobilisation. This is a hybrid position.  

Duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:  

Monitor the contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale. 

Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements. 

Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors. 

Assist in the control of contract budgets.  

Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects. 

Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client’s representative. 

Prepare monthly valuation reports

Experience required for the Senior Quantity Surveyor role: 

Proven experience as a QS/ SQS within the planned refurbishment & retrofit sector  

Expert IT skills with proficient MS office skills  

Full UK Driving Licence  

Will be required to do a DBS
