Senior Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a water infrastructure project in Leeds. This is a key role within the site team, supporting the delivery of works on a live water scheme within a regulated environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Leading engineering activities on site and supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager

* Overseeing setting out and ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme

* Managing and mentoring Site Engineers and junior staff

* Managing QA documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and as-built records

* Coordinating surveys and providing technical support to resolve site issues

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards

* Liaising with designers, subcontractors, and client representatives

* Supporting planning, sequencing, and short-term programming of works

Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

* Experience on water or wastewater schemes essential

* Strong setting out and surveying background

* Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Valid CSCS card

* SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
