A leading multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy is seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor to join their growing team based in Eltham. This opportunity will suit a motivated Building Surveyor looking to gain exposure across a wide range of sectors including Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health. The Building Surveyor will work within an experienced delivery team, supporting a variety of projects while developing strong technical and client-facing skills. This Building Surveyor position offers exposure to professional and project work, making it an ideal opportunity for a developing Building Surveyor looking to progress within a consultancy environment.

The successful Building Surveyor will be joining an established multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy with offices across the UK and a team of over 300 professionals. The organisation provides a range of services including Architecture, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, M&E Engineering and Sustainability Consulting. The consultancy works across multiple sectors and continues to expand its service offering and project portfolio.

The Role
As the Building Surveyor you will support senior surveyors and assist with the delivery of projects across a range of sectors.

The role will include:
* Assisting with the delivery of Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health sector projects
* Supporting contract administration duties under JCT contracts
* Undertaking building inspections and surveys
* Assisting with retrofit and energy efficiency focused projects
* Preparing technical reports and project documentation
* Liaising with clients, consultants and project teams throughout the project lifecycle

The Assistant Building Surveyor?
You will be a motivated and committed individual with an interest in the built environment. Unfortunately applications from non-construction related building surveyor backgrounds will not be considered.

The Assistant Building Surveyor must have:
* A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant property related discipline
* Residential Building Surveying experience
* JCT Contract Administration experience
* An interest in retrofit or energy efficiency projects (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to progressing through the APC process
