Senior Project Manager – Construction Consultancy
A leading global real estate consultancy based in London is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their established and growing team. This is a prime opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong residential experience to take ownership of high-profile developments across London. The successful construction Senior Project Manager will be working within a dynamic consultancy environment, with preference given to those who can demonstrate both residential and commercial project exposure.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex schemes while mentoring junior team members and maintaining key client relationships. The appointed Senior Project Manager will lead projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery across programme, cost, and quality.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will take full responsibility for delivering residential-led schemes, whilst also contributing to commercial projects where required. The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams, manage key stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading residential (and mixed-use/commercial) developments from feasibility through to handover
Managing project programmes, budgets, and risk
Acting as the main point of contact for clients
Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultants
Supporting and mentoring junior Project Managers
Producing detailed reports and presenting to senior stakeholders
The Senior Project Manager
The ideal Senior Project Manager will have significant consultancy or client-side experience, with a strong background in residential projects and exposure to commercial developments.
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
MRICS, MAPM or equivalent (or close to achieving)
Strong residential project experience (essential)
Commercial or mixed-use project exposure (preferred)
Proven leadership and team management ability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
